Motorola Dext MB200

Motorola has been silent for a long time, but he finally brought Dexter – the first phone in years, they say, in the same breath as the pros and Palm HTC Hero.

We all admired the Razr, which was so thin that we do not worry there was a garbage phone below. But then Motorola could feel his laurels were very comfortable, so decided to have some peace there.

But now he is back with Google and the power DEXT Motorola Android phone. It took a leaf from the book HTC and seen what you can do when you merge with Android a bit more – in the case of Dexter is MotoBlur.

Motorola hopes that the social networking new overlay-friendly and will do wonder to see people are back to the mark – but it’s a bit of Facebook and Twitter enough?

The Dexter is a device big enough, thank you for packing a full QWERTY keyboard and a 3.1-inch capacitive touch screen. It feels like two phones merged together – with an iPhone super-slim a-like to start with a physical keyboard as bulky.

He is in shape similar to the HTC Touch Pro 2 and not the T-Mobile G1, and the top – In an unusual move for Motorola – badly connected to the bottom, with plenty of Wiggle makes everything feel more expensive its expected.

It is a shame, because besides being a little big, but DEXT Motorola is a phone in Nice. It feels a little strange in the hand, with its generous dimensions, and not in the pocket easily, if you’re into skinny jeans, but there is a reason, Motorola has done well.

In addition to its large touch screen and respond, announces the addition of a full keyboard on DEXT user to select text. The buttons are well trained and rubber, surrounded by a reasonable amount of travel and the space around it.

But we have some people who DEXT controls are mixed and playing the keyboard. Some fell, but some said the key to be pressed vertically. Our opinion is that it is a good keyboard, as we get quickly to grips with it and our accuracy was almost perfect in a day.

We compared this to people like the N97 and G1 – no matter how long we have to play with them was always a certain amount of spelling mistakes – and you can see why we are such fans.

The presentation of the phone is not so great, however. The keyboard is decent enough, with the Alt and Shift keys (two of them), easy access to a range of characters, but the other buttons are ergonomically not so intuitive.

Power / HOLD are between the two partitions on the upper right side of the phone, and no matter how hard we tried to hide, it was not easy. The camera is in a similar situation, and demand is not only a press really hard to start, but it is a little difficult to place.

On the left is the silent switch and volume control, with the Micro-USB connector on the bottom. The latter is not covered, so you see me best that you do not pay dirt there or to charge the phone is a nightmare.

The 3.5 mm jack for headphones is almost cleverly carved into the head of Motorola DEXT with sweeping curves, which are among the ports open. It is a bit much, but at least you’ll always be able to find the socket in your pocket.

The front of the phone is not home for three keys (a lot of buttons HTC) as here. It’s basically a menu button, Home button and Back button, the Search button on the QWERTY keyboard (which we must say is a reasonable place for them on this phone.

There is little visible white LEDs in the upper left corner that flashes for messages, and just the right light without disturbing when you try to ignore that this is visible on the desktop.

The back cover of the phone has only two things – the spotted and the 5MP camera) (without flash. It is easy to remove the battery cover (which is a nice old-school pull-tab to remove battery) and a memory card.

Whether the SIM card and microSD are locked from the Gates Rubber bizarre – we do not know what a good old push-click and you’re wrong, but there you have it.

This is not the most aesthetic device, and enter the amount significant between the top and bottom of the Dexter is very boring, but it is generally a well constructed phone and it creates a lot of buttons and switches in Palm Stick – device size.

  • 1 day old TP2 and possessing some adjustment shock. I will seem completely thru this internet site, nonetheless it is so diverse from my q and my palm 800 which have been both largely the exact same. Right now the only point I really comprehend is how to access internet ( which is why I bought it ) Creating calls recieving messages is harder, moving photos to TP@ so I can use it as a viewer appears not possible. I can move them but i want them being quickly identified about the device. Understanding curve I hope is all.
